Scooby-Doo Ice Cream

I spent a large part of today writing an essay about my Grandpa.

That also means I spent a large part of today crying about my Grandpa.

I just wanted to post a list of fond memories.

• Bringing us to the Manhattan Beach Mall Islands whenever he babysat us

• The way he said "aaannndd" when he was telling a story

Six down, TWO TO GO!

Audition Butterflies

I'm packing for my first audition right now. It's probably the weirdest thing ever...

Just months ago I was coming off the plane from CMU, auditions were looming in the far future, and now they are RIGHT OVER MY HEAD. It's currently 11:30 a.m. on February 2nd, and in less than 72 hours, I will be finishing up my first audition in Michigan.

Here's my schedule for my UMich audition:

1. Meeting w/Dept Faculty & Tour at 8:30AM
2. Dance warm-up & Audition at 11:30AM
3. Acting Audition at 1:42PM
4. Musical Theatre Voice Audition at 3:39PM
5. Piano Placement Exam at 4:17PM

I'm shaking in my boots with nervous energy, but am soooo excited at the same time. I know I'm going to have so much fun auditioning, but now the pressure is on!

I'm currently packing for my Thursday morning flight, which is nerve-racking.

Well, I'm off to go record an audition video and rehearse for Hair with my castmates! :)
