That also means I spent a large part of today crying about my Grandpa.
I just wanted to post a list of fond memories.
- Bringing us to the Manhattan Beach Mall Islands whenever he babysat us
- Letting us get Scooby-Doo Marshmallow Ice Cream
- His sweaters
- The way he said "aaannndd" when he was telling a story
- He used to demand and predict things would happen at certain times. He said my baby cousin was going to be born on this certain date at this certain TIME in July 2002, and he was basically correct.
- Coming closer to the time of his death, my aunt said he was probably like: "God, I refuse to be with you until 12:00 noon on the day after my birthday." He left us around 8 am the day after his birthday.
There are more, but I'm forgetting everything I've written before. I miss him a lot.
I love you, Grandpa.
